Outside the Classroom
I have many interests outside of the classroom.
- Music - I have played guitar since grade school. I learned drums about 20 years ago and picked up the bass guitar about 12 years ago. My husband and I are in a classic rock band. We have local concerts and it is a lot of fun for us!
- Bicycling - I started bicycling seriously at 18 years old. I enjoy every type of cycling:road riding, mountain biking, bicycle touring and indoor spinning.
- Hiking - I love hiking any kind of trail. I especially love hiking with my family in a beautiful place.
- Photography - I have been into photography since high school. I typically take hundreds of photos when I go on vacation.
- Scrapbooking - My love of photography naturally turned into a love of scrapbooking. I try to keep as current as possible with this hobby.
- Reading - I LOVE to read! I typically read about 2 or 3 books a month and love to listen to books on CD while I travel.
- Gardening - I really enjoy spending time outside working on my garden and improving the look of our home.
